Where is your studio located?

We operate online and in-person at multiple facilities in Orange County, CA.

Are you offering in-person classes?

Private Reformer Lessons are offered to you in Huntington Beach, CA. Our other in-person facilities* are slowly re-opening in accordance to state and federal guidelines. Due to changes that sometimes occur daily, we recommend reaching out to us directly to see if our in-person classes are operating at a facility near you. CONTACT US

What do I need for your online program?

Access to ZOOM and/or Facebook via computer or mobile device. Small space to move around in and minimal props. Recommended equipment (not required): Exercise mat, long resistance band and/or mini-bands, dumbbells or weights for some classes. Classes are 10-55 minutes in length.

What is Pilates?

Pilates is a sequence of exercises, focusing on core strength, designed to strengthen and condition the entire body. Benefits of Pilates include, but are not limited to: increased strength and flexibility, improved balance, coordination and posture, enhanced mind-body awareness, less aches and pains from day to day, and Pilates can be used as rehabilitation for previous injuries and/or surgeries, with medical approval. Classic HB Pilates exercises are low impact with high results and are designed to accommodate children and adults up to 100 years old. YES, we have worked with a client that was literally 100 years old!

What do I wear to class?

Please wear form fitting clothes so that our Pilates instructors can see your body to make helpful corrections and adjustments during our classes.

MEN: Please wear compression shorts under loose fitting shorts.

Which class is best for me?

We believe that everybody and every body is unique and workout plans can and should be customized your needs, goals, injuries/ailments, and concerns. What is the difference between Yoga and Pilates?

While there are many different forms; Yoga, Pilates classes contain exercises that are continuously moving. While some Yoga exercises and poses flow, many Yoga poses, stretches, and positions tend to be held for longer periods of time. Yoga also incorporates meditation and mindfulness while Pilates focuses on strict concentration to achieve proper movement techniques while firing very specific muscles and muscle groups. Both are great additions to any fitness routine!

What if I have an injury or cannot do a certain exercise?

All of our classes and instructors provide modifications and alternative exercises for anyone who has a specific injury or limitation. We highly encourage you to let your instructor know about your injuries and limitations so that they can continue to provide safe alternatives for you in our classes.
